What do you do? Do you just talk about your “problems” or do they ask you questions or…what?

they will gently steer the conversation to whatever it is that made you call, and offer guidance and perhaps suggest some local counselling that will help you, and you can remain anonymous. Good luck!

Pretty much their job is to listen and help you find something that will help you feel a little better in the short term. They are also listening to see if you sound like you might be a danger to yourself or others. If that’s the case then they will try to get you some emergency help.They are pretty limited as to what they can offer in the way of help. You might be better off talking to a friend, someone who can be with you in your time of need. Someone who knows you and what you’ve been through and can be by your side. Good luck with which ever way you decide to go and know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
