How Would I Go About Becoming This?
Question by Samantha: How would I go about becoming this?
I’m serious about being in the health care field. I’m a senior in high school this year, and I am interested in nursing, and I originally planned on becoming a registered nurse, but psychology and psychotherapy are really interesting me right now. I especially want to work with eating disorder patients, whether I go into nursing or psychology. What degrees would I have to have to become a therapist specializing in eating disorders?

I am going through the exact same thing as you! I want to work in the medical field but also involving a lot of psychology studies. I used to have an eating disorder and want to help children that have them. I found “rehabilitation therapist” as an option (for adults and kids). they work with patients in a rehab or hospital setting which may be what you are looking for. Getting at least your masters is required.
