What Are the Signs of Clinical Depression?
Question by John W: What are the signs of Clinical Depression?
How do you know if you are clinically depressed?
What can you do about it?
I think I may be clinically depressed.
For the past few months, not a day has gone by that I have not thought about death.
I have thought a lot about ending my life and also I’m afraid of losing a loved one back home.
I am bored and always really sad.
I feel worthless and hopeless.
I have nothing going in my life and no money to make something happen.
I am sick of looking for a good job. I have no luck with that.

I think you are too. I suggest you go to the emergency room and tell them what you just told us on here. You will get the help you need and get on the path of recovery.

Seems like you answered you own question. No zest for life. you feel empty things you used to like to do don’t matter anymore. YES there is help. first. go to you GP and get a COMPLETE physical exam with blood work. Hormones, thyroid and others mimic depression. Then if all normal have him recommend a good psychiatrist. Dozens of gold standard antidepressants will have you back to your old self in no time.
I wish you the best. depression is not fun
